About Us

business model is focused on engaging with the local community, providing small business consulting, raising funds through donations and grants, and promoting the cultural legacy of the Westside of Las Vegas. At the heart of our mission is a commitment to community empowerment, economic opportunity, and honoring a heritage that has shaped who we are today. The Historic Westside — commonly known as the area west of the railroad tracks — is one of Las Vegas’s most culturally significant neighborhoods.

It emerged in the early 1900s as a dynamic community where African American residents, drawn by employment opportunities and a chance to build new lives, created a vibrant cultural and economic hub in the face of segregation and systemic barriers. Throughout the mid-20th century, the Westside became a thriving center of business, entertainment, and civic life, featuring shops, restaurants, churches, and performance venues that fostered connection and pride. Landmarks like the Historic Westside School, the Moulin Rouge, and community-led commercial corridors are enduring reminders of this legacy.
